Turn 49:

Okay so you guys saw our predicament earlier:

So I attacked the south warrior first and then the north one and we end up like this:

Which is great. The archer is at 2.5 health and has 2 XP so it can promote to combat 1 and get a bit of health boost. If the axe takes some damage while killing our warrior we'll have two archers able to attack it and we can make the decision then.

Also important is our little guy in the south:

We can move him onto that hill and get into their view and remind them they can't send their other axe at us.

I moved the warrior our of our cap just in case, but I don't think it can actually reach in time. But just in case we see the second axe next turn he can make it to the horse city in time to help one turn. If we don't see a second axe we can probably move him back to the capital. WW grew back to 2 and the worker will finish the wheat farm next turn so WW will be working that and grow to 3 in 3 turns, just in time to be whipped back to 2 for a chariot, if we can get it connected and protected.

That power graphs not looking so great for our pirate-y friends.

Excellent play and terrific luck Lewwyn.

If we can get two chariots, we should be in good shape.

I suggest we start trying to extricate ourselves from this war.

Well done. Especially the RNG hax. Yeah, I think at this point with the forward city planted I'd be happy to make peace with these guys so we can focus on our Jihad against paper cut for a while. Is there any news about them lately?

Lewwyn, I just checked the turn, we have a about a 40% chance to kill the axe, and will certainly lose an archer if we go for the attack. I don't think it's wise, because we don't know what they have in the fog.

BTW, if Plako rings up the diplomacy, don't let him give you any shit about their start being weak, they just fucked it up.

I'll check it in a little bit, but I was thinking that if the axe was undamaged we might just fortify the two archers in position so that if the axe attacks one the other can hit it. Also it will make them worry about what we have in the fog behind our archers. It's possible they might not attack at all in favor of waiting for reinforcements. But yeah I'll check it when I get back home a bit later.

Do not fort the archers in position. They have 95% odds to win against an archer. If they attack the archer adjacent to Losing we can not stop them razing the city.

Turn 50:

Okay so the situation:

After considering everything its just too risky to move forward attack or sit in place. We have no idea what could be in the fog behind the city and what could reach. Even if we attacked with both archers and won the archer could then be killed by a new axe and then we'd have no archers left to defend.

So we moved defensively.

Warrior moved back closer to their south borders.

We're 4th in power which doesn't make me happy.
