So if the start normally has 3 forests, Pacal of Inca gets 0 forests but Boudica of Spain gets 5 forests and 2 extra grasslands?
I have to run.

Fine with that Seven (and thanks for trying to find a way fitting everyone).
What do you all think about having a screenshot of our start before we pick? I would love that but again it is nothing I insist on having. novice Wrote:Serdoa, if everyone groks the new traits equally well, it'll be just as predictable a snake pick. heh, nice word. I was fairly certain it was a word you made up, but google says otherwise .
Please don't go. The drones need you. They look up to you.
I'm okay with something like what Seven outlines. Another way to penalize choices is to skip an initial turn (all units hold).
I have to run.
I will be missing until sunday , so we have time to get the the map and what we want more.
I am fine with seven ideea or without it, for me doesnt matter we will all with same rules. So whatever its decided i agree.
Hm, I like the all units hold idea as I think - especially on quick - each forest is a drop in the bucket. One potential drawback is it does highlight the random advantage some will get simply from being earlier in turn order.
Anyone else prefer this? Turn handicap method Pick from last in turn order to first, then again in the same order (don't snake back). Each of FIN/EXP/CRE/India/Inca: Lose a turn at beginning.
So Pacal of India makes up his turn disadvantage the first time his fast worker steps onto a forest/hill/corn two tiles away.
