Mafia Helper: User script for filtering posts and making tallies

(September 23rd, 2013, 09:36)Jkaen Wrote: Thanks Noble.

Novice is it possible to build into the tally somehow who hasn't voted yet?

Well it would need a player list, preferrably written up in some standardized way, so that the script could recognize it automatically.
I have to run.

If you do put in that feature, you could also add a dropdown menu or some such to select a player to filter on. So you don't have to hunt around for an actual post by the player, first.
If you know what I mean.

Well I guess you could do this without a formatted player list, too, since it's just for filtering, so you can just use everybody who's ever posted in the thread.

I thought something like that zak. doesn't work for the first half of day 1 but:

You have a setting so we can tag the GM(s), then you just list everybody else who has posted in the thread but not voted that game day.

Updated the first post with instructions for running Mafia Helper on iPhones and iPads. smile

You guys don't think this game has become a bit too serious if you start programming tools to analyze voting behaviour ? lol
What's next? An artificial neural network that analyzes text style of posts and gives probability of each player being scum?

Next we start keeping tabs on everyone's sleep and work patterns to make sure that when they are silent they are silent because they can't be online.

Oh wait. :P

Pretty sure there's a longstanding ruling *against* using the "who's online" bit at the top to call people out for being around bu not posting. And that's rather simpler to do than working out when they 'should' be online.

There's a bug. If multiple votes exist in the same post, the script picks up the first one rather than the last one.

Cancel that, there's no bug. A certain someone was just trying to be a smartass with the color codes.
