Are we going to keep the same rules again this year?
I'm playing in all sorts of variants this year and in some I am enjoying having a second flex. Perhaps we could consider that?

We're a 12-team league - a 2nd flex would make our league very deep. Is that what we want? I'm fine with any date, but I prefer the Saturday that seems to be the consensus.
Yeah, 2nd flex in a 12-team league strikes me as a whole lot of 3rd receivers on bad teams getting starts and guys getting lucky by starting them at the right time. I like oddball rules but I think most of them are meant to balance shallower leagues. Since we're pretty deep, I think we're pretty solid with the standard set.
Not a deal breaker for me though, happy to go along if others prefer it.

I generally like deeper leagues (I remember I played in a league for a bunch of years with 3 WR and 2 Flex), but I'm not picky at all

Didn't we discuss changing to point fractions mid season last year? So we don't round off those 39 yard performances to 3 points?

Yeah, I remember that. I would quite like that. I don't think we need to make the league too deep: I find leagues most fun when people can make a decent amount of waiver wire moves. Ok, I think the prevailing idea was to set the draft at August 31st. It looks like I probably can't make that. I'm definitely not going to hold things hostage, though.
