I'm bored, new game?

After thinking about it does anyone want a knock about game on an edited version of the old pb1 map? Like with new resource forest and start locations?

What do you have in mind for this? Would it be a real game, or just trying out random stuff in the mod?

Real game using rtr 2.0.7.3. Would need 10 players total to work plus a good map maker with a few spare hours. Standard rules with snake pick. In all honesty such a game could start by tomorrow evening if people were around.

For the map maker just need to replace the start positions. Then rebalance them to double food plus 2h start. Then populate the map with more resources because the original had about 1 food resource per thirty tiles. The rest is optional like cutting some of the land up for islands and turning some of the southern tundra to plains.

Yeah I have the same argument with my wife, too. It's hard to convince her that this stuff is *real*.

Krill, that sounds good. I'm in, provided that I can get the mod to work. Also I haven't played the mod at all, and barely played civ in the past 1.5 years, so I'm going to suck.

Only slight snag I've found is that the link to the PB1 map doesn't work anymore and I can't find a copy of the map anywhere on my PC or dropbox. Which is weird because I uploaded a copy to my account and then linked it in the maps thread. Anyone got a copy?
