(Spoilers) Churchill's Old General Death

Hello. Trying to learn more. @Old Harry how did you come up with the southern part of this map. I understand the fog gazing for immediate surroundings, but did you just get the southern portion off of the old map used?

You can turn on camera flying in the civilization.ini file, then if you press ctrl-alt-f in-game you can use silhouettes to try to figure out what is further into the fog. It can be hilariously misleading, but normally I find it useful.

Pm'd 2metra, as id hate for him to be the first RB player to miss a turn.. Also, 2 players are looking to have missed two turns in a row if they dont get to it this turn. Maybe luck will have them near us?

I saw that you have met Coco (in his story on civforum.de). As someone over there mentioned to him that you have played many PBs over here I think it fair to say that he is a veteran of many a PB on "our" side as well. Looking forward to seeing how things go betweeen the two of you....

And you couldn't wait until OP wrote this himself? rolleye

Btw, I'm not too happy about the flying camera. We don't use that at CiFo, not sure why it's allowed here.

Thanks for the info Papa Bear, but we really don't want to get reports based on news from other threads. It's hard lurking without spoiling the players as even asking something as innocuous as which turn we'll complete a wonder might let us know that we're in a race. alright

Oops, sorry. I missed that in the rules. I'll refrain from now on. I think we haven't banned camera flying because it'd be hard to enforce and much of the time the conclusions drawn are either hilariously wrong or totally useless. I guess a mod could disable it, but then I'd need to find another way to waste my time in-game...

Went ahead with the planned move. Is coco likely to try and wack the warrior? Would surely hope not.

As i will hopefully be getting the series again tonight ( i have my "christmas" on the eve ) Ill be able to re-read the books and comment better on each character as we plant our cities.

From the sounds of things, our first neighbor is at the very least decent. Playing Hammurabi of Babylon, he gets a decent leader with a pretty good civ for Deity Base BTS. Id have swapped places with him given the chance. While i can still bitch and moan about the laughable balance of base BTS, it wont stop us from winning. The turn pace will. rolf

I have a weird feeling that replacements will be needed for a couple people soon. I really hope if someone misses multiple turns and goes AWOL that Lord of the Civ just deletes their entire starting area to keep this game from being a farce.
