it's 2E, 1 N of the rice. we are discussing the rice currently. I agreed that they could found the copper but apparently all the land nearby is desert so they want to be nearer the river. Bear with me, i don't intend to concede.

they are currently offering us settle on the grass hill and they'll, culturally, allow us to keep the rice.

me: if we settle SW of pigs and you deliberately don't pursue culture in 'coppertown' therefore allowing us to keep the rice TILe(note it's the tiles, not the resource we have interest in), then you would also by poxy be letting us win the battle for the 2 wooded grassland riverside above it
which would mean you wouldn't actually gain ANY tiles by settling on copper as you'd be trading desert for well, nothing

Just for all you lurkers (of which we know there are many (well at least 5))

We had a most fruitful discussion with our new neighbours, and we agreed settling rights for the 'disputed area' between our two civs. When our scouting is more complete, we will show you just what was agreed.

We also discussed trading and came up with the beginnings of a good, profitable exchange for Alphabet.
