This is exactly what Sullla is talking about, this comment of yours is totally unnecessary and doesn't help anyone.

I've played with and against Sullla in quite a few games of Civ and LoL, sometimes he does get a little wound up and doesn't just play along with a joke. However calling him names and talking trash about him in this thread or anywhere else isn't exactly the most mature behaviour is it? He makes mistakes just like anyone else and expecting him to always conduct himself perfectly is silly.

Its not just Sullla who should take a breather and take time to think about whats gone on in recent months but also those who seem determined to have a vendetta or grudge against him. Personally I'm not always happy when he criticises something I've done in Civ or LoL, but he's never as far as I'm aware made any of these critiques personal and a lot of the flak he's taken has most certainly been personal and unwarranted.

For what it's worth, i think Sullla was in the right both with what he said and in locking that thread. I have often disagreed with Sullla in the past and will again if he returns, but on this occasion, he's done nothing wrong. Thoth being Thoth isn't an excuse for being a dick.

MJW thinks on wavelengths that are incomprehensible to me. That's not to say he doesn't have a point, he's just so far outside the box that it appears random- despite being sometimes well thought out.

MJW's post, which Dantski quoted, and Thoth's rant are not exactly similar in either message or intention.

Really, the vast majority of the name calling or talking trash is in the lurker thread that Sullla presumably isn't reading. Outside of a handful of exceptions, the stuff in the general forum have been pretty tame.

1. As was said before Sullla may have gotten nasty PM's or is looking at the lurker thread post count.

2. With Sullla droping out we have the worst of both worlds in regards to this game finishing. Sullla playing in it scaires people away and Sullla not being on the fourms fails to recuit some kinds of players. And when I mean not finish. I mean not finish because one team does not have a turn player to play (like slaze in the CFC demogame) not because everyone else other than spulla is going to die soon.

Yes. But during his rant he said is not blaming any one person. So it has to be something more than that post. Your theory might actually be right because Sullla prides himself on not personally attacking anyone one but I have my doubts. Unless Sullla tells us spefically what his thought train was it is all just a guess.
