Didn't consciously do anything with research, I logged in to look at the victory screen to check for population. I opened the tech tree at some point to check out future bulb paths, but I didn't click on anything that I can remember.

Wow, Merovich certainly should be a some kind of asperger to ask for a dubious reload NOW, while all the players still feel annoyed by numerous previous reloads.
I'm, actually, OK with any reloads as long as they don't mess with RNG results and don't affect other players. I would never ask to reload a mistake for myself but I have no desire to capitalize on blunders of other people. I think that other things being equal we should provide the players an environment in which they can play as good as they can and want.

(May be we should ask to reload for us because of this IW thing. Sedoa will ragequit and we will have one rival less.)

IW isn't a problem as we are running 0% gold. It was mostly a matter of overflow but we will need IW pretty soon and I don't think this overflow would speed up anything.

Jester did NOT open borders with us. I consider researching sailing after all to see his resources.

Is his capital growing? And do we know what's it building from the espionage screen?

Bacchus, I really need your feedback on the following.
We don't have OB with Egypt, so, we won't be able to scout them physically for horses. However, we will have a trade connection with them after/if we get sailing. It will allow us to see each other's resources.
We are getting sailing on T70 orT71. We will have our horses connected on T73, chariots revealed on T76, Wall St. attacked on T77.
Our options:
1. Finish researching sailing and just sit until T76 in a hope that they won't have time to adjust defenses.
2. DOW them at T73, preventing them from seeing our horses and sending a couple of axes forward, pushing them to a round of axe-whips.
3. Don't research sailing.
4. Research sailing but DOW Slowcheetah or Sian to make them think that we will attack in a different direction. I don't think we will follow this option: they should locate Sian and Slow by now and are unlikely to fall to this trick.
I'm leaning towards option #2 but really want to hear your thoughts.

1. His cap is size 4 now, was size 3 after he whipped a settler. Which happened 6-7 turns ago, I think.
2. We could learn it, if I remembered this formula.
