Well, if you are going with this sort of metaphor then you shouldn't complain about the map. Its more resource rich than your usual surroundings.
In Soviet Russia, Civilization Micros You!
"Right, as the world goes, is only in question between equals in power, while the strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must." “I have never understood why it is "greed" to want to keep the money you have earned but not greed to want to take somebody else's money.”
Scoozed?

I'll start with "diplo". I asked Pingo for their map for free, wondered what they would counter withL
Um no, I want you to crash and burn, so you ain't having those. You can have this though: Trololololol. Plains cottage due next turn, grass cottage turn after, cow hooked up next turn as well (T84) 2 workers hooking wines at DF T86 and a lone worker doing the same at WTF? Going to need a lot of worker turns here over the next 10 turns. As you can tell, I change my mind a lot... Nothing to see here...will likely give a tile over to Crapital, but it'll take the corn soon I think for a turn or 3. Yay wines. But still, boring. Chariots aren't particularly special at T83. Hehe. As other players are just settling their fourth city mine is already coming good. I think it'll grow to size 5 before finishing the granary, as that gives the higher pop size but less hammers to military. There is a worker moving to make sure the furs are hooked the turn it grows to size 3. Arse end of no where but surprisingly useful city. I was paying 1 gpt to barb bust the area, so if you take that into consideration it's breaking even on gold already... Boring city...will have to take the grass farm from the capital on T87, so need to make sure Crapital is up to scratch. Gotta love those stats.
Bonus pictures:
...and to think Stalin was considered to be a bad roll for this map. Wonder what they use the GE for? The GL and then build the Collosus? Yay for barb busting. That's 30 pop points eot T83 as well, which is about 17.8% of world pop. I used to have higher, but still. It's a 9 player game, I should have about 11%.
OK, at this point, I need to ask what you guys want to see. I can keep on doing pic dumps every turn, but I don't really have much to add any more, at least on a per city basis.
Interesting decision this. I want to attack Pingo, and Chariots will suffice so long as they lack spears. But the payoff, according to CFC, is that I get C1 on chariots...that's not exactly useful long term. Or I can spread religion to 5 of my cities. By the time I get 10 chariots out, I won't have 5 cities that need the religion...so why bother. I might go for it if it's available later on, but doesn't it become obsolete at a tech? Like...Monarchy? WANT! Pingo offered map for map trade which I promptly declined. Decent power on Pingo...on that note, with tech selected at 20% for minimal overflow: Without: Decent GNP there. I don't have great total beakers but rate of accumulation is good... Time to start growing. Weird tiles to work I know, but I just want it grown asap. |
