No reason to start this all over again. I will always consider your actions here despicable and unsporting - and you will disagree with me. I'll just try to forget this as well as possible when discussing something else here in the forum, in possible future games and whatever other occasions.
For fucks sake Fin. How hard is it to grasp that the Artist was sold and not gifted? At least acknowledge that.

Sure, artist was sold. It does not change my point at all, but based on your tone and previous comments it's clear that we are disagreeing here as well.
Anyways, let's not go through this again, the end of this game was a total farce and the less I need to discuss about it the happier I am.

But it wasn't a truly competitive environment, was it? If the map was Toroidal wrap you would have a good point but... it wasn't so you don't. Even up until the late T190s, I had been preparing for the possibly that I needed to attack TBS; take, for example, the hidden half-built road network I had prepared in his territory for commando shenanigans. However, around T200 I finally stopped living in denial of the insurmountable situation of the map: your civ, the runaway, was on the complete opposite corner of the map from me. Even if I wanted to attack you, it would have been what, a dozen turn travel time for transports to reach your core from my main production centers? And that's assuming you don't see it coming at all? Totally ridiculous. Clown civ4. So how would it make sense for me to defeat TBS and BGN (assuming miracles beyond miracles beyond miracles occurred and I could somehow defeat both) only for you walk away with a victory uncontested? How do you justify that at all? Instead, I decided to support the civ who I had mutually beneficial borders with for much of the whole game.
*shrug* You can think that's shitty all you want, and you can think whatever the hell you want of me. I won't refute your right to your own opinion. But, whatever else you say, the artist sale sale was *NOT* because of my opinion of the PB25 map. It was just more of the same policy that I had been maintaining for months.

I don't blame you for not attacking TBS.In my eyes despite the fact that the map wasn't mirrored one should be as sporting as reasonable, but spending a lot of RL time for a really low-odds attack can't be demanded. Your military gifts were pretty lame, but not completely game-breaking. However trying to decide the winner with a single trade.. That's where we simply disagree.
Yeah, let's see how shitty I will be. You spent a couple of months insulting OH over PB25 map in pretty much every single thread at RB. I still have work to do in order to reach that achievement.

You did have a propensity to bring up '25 repeatedly for a month or so, where it wasn't relevant.
But it's no more relevant here.

Again, this is a lie. I sure as hell didn't shut up about it in my own thread, nor in the lurker thread after I withdrew, but I certainly didn't spew shit all over the forum. Here's a search of my posts over the last six months where I mention "PB25":
http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/search.ph...order=desc
Other than posts in the PB25 forum, the only other threads where I mention either the PB25 map or game are 1.) the PB27 setup thread, in a visceral series of responses to Commodore rallying for a PB25-like map for PB27, which I'm quite sure, both then and now, was just to troll me, 2.) small asides in my PB22 and PB26 threads that I wasn't enjoying PB25, but nothing specific nor ranty, and finally 3.) a post which doesn't show up in this list, but I remember replying to a post of Commodore's in his PBEM64 thread where he was complaining about having 4 neighbors with a comment about "at least it isn't 6," which was indeed a reference to PB25. Everything else in this search result is irrelevant stuff like replying to Xenu thanking him for getting the servers back online after the long hiatus or quoting a post by retep where he mentions PB25 barb animals, etc.
Hardly every post on the forum.
This especially pisses me off because y'all are again implying that TBS didn't *deserve* to win this, that he was only there at the end because it was handed to him by some stupid asshole deus ex machina that had nothing to do with this game. This frothing beast that couldn't even contain his callow babyrage to hundreds of unrelated threads all across the forum - he had to bring his drama and slander to ALL of them, so of course he "threw" PB18 because of PB25! He was totally obsessed, clearly everything he did in his whole goddamn life was because of PB25! But, unfortunately, this game really was just about this game.

Not threatening, I meant it as "let's see how I can handle my distaste"

Just to be clear: I've never written or implied that.
Although thanks to this farce I feel currently that everyone just lost in PB18.
