I think this is absolutely everything that we would want to sticky concerning settings / rules / teams:

Turns: Simultaneous
Tech trading: Off
Events: Off
Wonder Bans: None
Espionage: On, with hostile Civic and Religion Switching Missions banned
AP Resolutions: Religious Victory banned
Choose Religion: On
Nukes: Off
Vassal States: Off
Leaders: Unrestricted (snake pick, no duplicates, nothing banned)
View Starting Locations before Snake Pick
All teams start with Scout
Full diplo
Rules violations result in reloading to a save prior to the violation, and / or Plako’s determination
Version: BTS 3.19
Map relevant settings:
Size: Large (setting - doesn't tell anything about the real size of the map)
Start: Ancient
Speed: Normal
Difficulty level: Emperor or Monarch (Map-maker’s choice)
Barbarian level: Normal
Goody huts: Off
Corporations: On
Contact: Pre-Optics for all teams, capitals quite far from each other
Water: Enough to make sea-faring relevant
Wrap: Map-maker’s choice
Specific rules:
1) No logging in outside of your half of the turn during war for whatever reason, no double-moves during war (and turn before)
2) No peaceful double-moves, either (i.e. we play as sequential turn whenevr doing otherwise can give player whatever advantage. We do not play 2 turns in a row, we wait at least 2 hours between turns
3) No city gifting unless returning to the previous owner
4) No diplo before in-game contact
5) No changing production, research etc just after turn rolls (to hide what you are doing)
6) No turning to AI
7) Generally, no pauses and reloads, unless special circumstances
8) Play for your own team's victory. Don't deliberately cripple your nation for another's gain. ("Free" cities gold, etc.)
9) DO NOT BE A JERK!
Additional rules:
1) Every team will have their own spoilers thread – which hopefully be a lot of fun to read and have tons of useful into . In the (unlikely) case you would not love it, we would ask at least for updates on starting location, turn 10, 20, 50, 100 etc.
2) Every team needs a fancy/awesome/impossible-pronounce-or-remember name. So start thinking now!
