You get no points as you predicted the wrong result at the end of extra time.

That doesn't seem to make sense.

Isn't this the same as (say) I pick Brazil to win 1-0 and then win 3-2? I would have thought that if you pick Brazil to win and the do (either in regulation, extra or via a penalty shoot-out) then you get 2 pts. If you select the correct score, you get 5 pts.

It is not the same as it means that predicting a win has an even better chance of earning points than predicting a draw.

Draws are much rarer as so there needs to be a bit more reward for a close prediction than a win.

A draw can only get any points after 120 mins of play whereas predicting a win has 2 chances to score points by then.

It may not work as I think it will, but I'm going to stick to this scheme for at least the quarters to see how it goes.

By the same way they won the EC. Nobody knows how they won but they did.

But honour where honour is due the game vs Ivory coast was a real good game by them and a well deserved win (3 times they hit metal additional to the 2 goals)

On with predictions

Brasil - Chile 1 : 2

Colombia - Uruguay 3 : 1

Anyway, whatever, just don't change it now that you've decided on it.

If you had, you'd be 5 points clear in the lead, rather than just joint first. And that's with one game still to go
