the 1 GPT shrine isn't the key thing... it's the 1 GP shrine ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif) You figure you get, i dunno, 5-10 GP's in a game like this, depending on how long it goes and how hard you go after. Getting the results of one, basically for free? it's awesome...

It's a cute little shrine. Probably that 1gpt comes from an old lady that religiously donates a coin every month to help buy the poor monks a pair of shoes.

so, one thing I think we should do is see if theStick has his horses hooked up. I assume he does.
I'd just hate to have him do the same thing to us that we are doing to Sian. Our defenses on his side in the south are less than paper. a two chariot rush could probably take 2 cities

It's not the gold, it's the free mana that makes a shrine worthwhile. Oh wait, this isn't an FfH game?

He's got the horses hooked yeah. But has no vision on our cities and our power spike is enormous. We can put a few spears out though.

I thought peaks gave an extra tile of visibility. Wouldn't he be able to see into Arithmatic?
Anyone know? There are 2 water tiles between a peak in his borders and our city on flat land.
I'm not terrifically worried, btw. His power is steady and he's been building archers, so he's defensive, mainly. Which is fine with me.
edit - ok, ran a test. Peaks don't give an extra tile of visibility, though they do allow you to see over forest and hills. So, yeah - he can't see in.

Right. We're clearly winning against Sian but we've got our message in the public thread implying that it's been a quick smash and grab. For all he knows, the rest of our units are in our core/border.
Now, he does have a scout in the north, but if he sees naked cities there we can see him coming since we own the peninsula and can whip up our spears/chariots to deal with him.

Save is in. Go ahead and have more fun ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif) I can't get to play it till late tonight.
I took a look, just to poke around - I think we just keep moving units at his cap. Not sure about the injured chariot - I'm good with promoting and moving in, but it will be awfully vulnerable.
We could also move the holkan in with the other chariot, and have the injured one heal for a turn. Either way.
We should probably move the scout in, as well. it can sacrifice itself nobly to block a reinforcement
I'd vote for aqueduct in arithmatic, lib in the analogy and workers everywhere else. Cottage the heck out of the floodplains.
