On the plus side we have to defend just 1 city ( of course losing that one is fatal). But if you were retep, would you rather attack us or Sian? Which brings us to the next question, should we help filthy behated Sian in a possible war against retep?
Libbing MS is unrealistic I suppose?
Collateral and Flanking, but once someone reachs Cannon if you can't built Cuirs you generally will not be able to produce the sheer hammers needed for a successful defence.

Hey, I just drop by here with my phone to throw in random ideas... Had thought of steel but wasn't sure about the requirements. ![mischief mischief](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/mischief.gif) Yep, it's most probably the better choice
Will it looks like retep wants to go for rifles, not cannons, so cats +knights (+ muskets? ) Should do the job
How many more turns of peace with Sian left?

Oh libbing steel is definitely the solution, but I'd rather concentrate on getting to lib first ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif) If no one has the required techs by the time I get there I could stop a few beakers away from getting the tech and see how far I can get. One weird game where the team that oracles feudalism and libs steel doesn't win ! I'm betting on being forced to take an earlier tech though.
Sian is going for the music artist BTW, and probably MT after that, he already has drama. 2 or 3t of peace left with him, after that things might become tense.

If Sian does take the city, pillage the villages at least?

I sent him a request for the city. I didn't do all the work against Grimace so he could have 5 (!) cities from him to my 3. Grimace is down to 1 city, I sent him a peace offer which I have no idea if he'll take.
In the good news the MoM is due next turn, as long as no one finishes it this turn. I also just built a settler for the second island spot.

And this
MoM done this turn.
I'm waiting for 4 more turns before turning science back on, the great person popping in Pyth will determine the course of action.
