T161:
Ellimist's island looks yummy:
Can't wait to get some galleons up in this house.
Here's an image of my backdoor plan on Kuro.
We have 9 knights there and next turn maybe we can upgrade the 2 galleons plus whip 3rd galleon when we Lib Astro. NH and I were debating about whether it would auto upgrade from galley to galleon mid-turn in the build queue. He thinks no, I think yes.
Either way this is a tentative plan. We may not even want to upgrade the galleys because it will cost money. I really would love to do it though. I think all of Kuro's military is up at the front lines preparing to face this:
Jkaen's stack joins on the in-turn. I have reinforcements as well and we will bombard the city first. The 3 move GG will dart out and back pillaging while we sit there.
Demos:
We are ahead in GNP, but that with Ellimist not at full tech speed. He has 700+ gold and If you notice he's at 36 turns for constitution so definitely has tech turned low. Though I guess we do too.
Can't wait to force Ellimist to draft a whole bunch of low tech units on his island.
And...
I hate you. New GP in 12 turns. I say we just let them sit and use them for consecutive GAs. Unless Jkaen gets something he wants to trade.

They won't upgrade mid-turn. You'll still have a galley in the queue that you can only whip for as much as you can whip a galley. (Edit: also if you accidentally remove it from the queue it's GONE.)
At EOT before they pop out, they will upgrade into galleons in the queue, and maybe you managed to whip them for enough and have enough base production that they finish that same turn.

So we're looking at a turn delay with galleons costing 80 hammers. We'd get 45 from the whip +13 or so from the last turn +13 from the whip turn. about 71. So we'd need an extra turn for the galleon to finish. Or we could 2 pop whip it the following turn which is the same time cost but its a 2 pop vs 1 pop.
Either way a 1 turn delay.

I don't really want to upgrade the galleys, I'd rather use the gold on tech. We could whip out a second one in Vanadium, or whip out one in Scandium. The Scandium one would be visible though. We could just go with seven knights for the initial wave. Or we could wait for the one from Neon, but Ellimist would spot that one.

Ellimist's stack isn't moving. He has built a caravel though:
Here's the front lines with Kuro.
He has 16 spears! I wonder if he'll attack out. In any case that strengthens my supposition that the backlines are empty.

Doing good.

Jkaen is at 59 hours with the save. He was at 48+ last time too. Before that he averaged 24. Kuro takes 2 days per save as well. That's 4-5 days between the two of them. Ellimist plays in his time slot when he has it, and we get the save out again in under 5 hours max each turn.
When you are only getting 2-3 turns per week, its pretty frustrating. I mean I have multiple games to occupy myself with so I probably shouldn't be so concerned with the pace. And really I'm not that concerned, its just kind of sitting here annoying me.
Do we want to end it? I'd only do that if everyone conceded we won. I don't really want to end it because I feel like its still early, especially given the fact this is normal speed and we've just gotten galleons. But the turn speed is making me a bit sad. I feel like there is still a lot of fun to be had, the only problem is I think the fun is more ours and not our opponents.
Noble what do you think? We could just let them take their time and slowly grind it out. Or we could ask the group if they want out, at the price of our unquestioned win, of course.

I don't think Ellimist would concede the game at this point. I think we could just let it sit for now, doesn't really cost us anything. And we're not really losing track of things in between turns even when it takes a week.

Well, Jkaen played. Hopefully we'll see a turn within 12 hours.
