I am talking about Oxy clearly attacking suttree over the island, and yet the log still says suttree declared war and Molach thinks suttree is the one attacking. The vast majority of times when the declaration comes from the defender it is a preemptive attack, but he didn't attack anything. The other possibility is to declare and ask for peace, but if Oxy is marching an army to your door he's not going to take peace unless he misclicks, so that's just either stupid or disrespectful. Thus I must conclude that suttree just likes being the one declaring war, in the absence of him posting something in his thread. It's not complicated.

Actually I'm pretty sure it's a terra map now that THH has pointed out the resemblance...

Do you mean Earth2?
Terra just sets out two continents.

Sure, whatever. I don't know the specific map script names. I meant terra as in earth, not a specific script name, hence not capitalized.
You know retep, if you're concerned about suttree getting your map, you should just offer to buy Halvgud's map. It doesn't cost him anything and he definitely wants gold right now.

I'm not so sure war with Kuro can't be profitable for the Byzantines, too.
And no biggie about the map script, it's not terra: About half of the players said Pangaea, the other half said Big and Small, so I rolled B&S with "Massive Continents" setting. One single tile added to connect Retep's little blob, and it's a Pangaea with lots of squiggles and coastline and islands. FWIW, I'd have done quite a bit more balancing if that was the mandate, but players largely seemed to want a natural roll.

Wasn't Molach aggressive Rome? Wasn't suppose to be super aggressive? Wasn't this the guy that was going to rip off our faces and kill our families? Well no, there were all lies, just smoke and mirrors.
Molach has fell behind, he didn't use his praet to attack anyone, he didn't use his trait to settle more aggressive, and now is all worthless. All the leverage that he had in the past is gone, as more time pass he would become weaker and weaker until someone take everything that one day was rightful his. That is the destiny of the people that don't take opportunities in their hands when they can. Oh a cruel cruel destiny for the one that desired all.

That's a perfectly fine spot once you have Biology and State Property, but as is it's rather weak. It does have an incense tile, maybe he was going for that? It's easier to settle for it than wait for another 2 border expansions.

Well, it's fine as a filler, I guess...but he's shown a ton of very nice high-food spots out west...
