9 Quechua, 2 chariots, and all I killed were 2 measly warriors. OTOH, even if I kept you choked no way I could have killed those war chariots, so the choke would have been broken that way.

When I spotted your mounted stack earlier, I was hoping it would go for TT. Oops. If I had recalled the 2 City Elimination rule, I would have been more energetic on the defense, though I'm not going to say that it would have saved me.

Definitely an interesting experience! I'd probably enjoy being on a larger team, though, so I could hide and build cottages and hopefully not die. lol

Maybe next time, 4v4, 5v5 TBG TvB, everyone on TS in teams. That way it could be easier to get help. The speaking and not typing makes all the difference, as I found out today...

Yeah, TeamSpeak would be helpful. I couldn't seem to get the exe I downloaded to install, so I'll try again. Are there more than one version, or a preferred type?

Also: I know that it's pitiful, but I wouldn't mind a Human vs. AI game to get a little more used to the format. alright

Hopefully you were installing teamspeak 2? Teamspeak 3 is not compatible with teamspeak 2.

Some questions on these options from an MP noob:

Stack Attack: How does the game select attackers in a mixed stack? Does that work in practice, or should the player group each unit type in its own group?

No Combat Zoom: Does this make it hard to "discover" attacks that occur offscreen?

Minimize popups: This means the player should always have production and research queued up, right?

Not sure of the first two, but certainly for the former it just shows each build in small icons that appear on the right. They let you move units first and then choose builds second, crucial when time is of the essence. Queueing up builds will reduce the risk of not getting round to sorting out the builds since they come last, but it's by no means essential.
