[No Players] Casual Commentary: 28 Lurkers Later

The solution scales to continents of 4 fine too, by the way. And 3/4/5/6 continents in toroidal grids...so that's 9, 12, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21, 24 player solutions.

India, Celts and Mongolia would probably wreck face.

Yeah, damn... serfdom + FW + all that meat would grow like crazy. Something like... Viccy of India? Maybe HC? Celts would be awesome here too but so would the American UU, the Minuteman, which actually seems like it would be better because its likely the continents would stalemate into 3-way ties at least into the ren era (earlier invasions seem difficult because of poor mobility and the other neighbor keeping you in check). G3 Rifle stacks seem a lot harder to stop compared to G3 Gaellic stacks because rifles can cover their withdrawl brothers much more easily than swords can.

I'd like to see a 5 player continent set up for 25 players. That mini map would look funky as hell.

Joey, good catch, I forgot about America...yay, they aren't shit.

Well, I'll grant him this; Fenn picked his course and is going for it 100%. I like the expansion prospects of Exp/Pro/Stonehenge too, albeit that is a hole to climb out of. If he leverages his granaries right, definitely non-lethal.

Nice job on the map, Commodore. All starts seem to have a lot of juicy city spots, but never that one perfect second city spot, that we always want (share food with Capital, 2 food resources of its own, at least one of them first ring). I'd be cracking my head to dotmap properly, while not being frustrated, which probably means the map is doing it right. thumbsup

Who's neighbouring Grimace?
