[Spoilers] AT (Charlie/Mongolia) has a thread. In which he shall post.

So, I have an issue with my tech tree, and I think I know what I'm going to do, but I figured I'd talk about it here.
This is my planned micro to get a settler out on turn 28: This has me researching Fishing, Agriculture, AH, Mining and BW, producing a WB, worker, warrior and settler, plus part of another warrior. It has BW finishing right in time with the settler, so I can move and switch and not lose that turn. What it doesn't have in it is Pottery. I've figured that, unless I pop 2 of mining, fishing and agri from huts, I can't get Pottery AND AH AND BW before my first settler. Maybe I could if I built a cottage instead of improving the ivory, but that seems dumb. My choices are: Do AH later. This delays the settler for a turn (improving the ivory gets me to 100 hammers exactly in the settler on turn 28), plus I don't know where horses are. The horses aren't a big deal - I expect that I can survive with warriors for awhile (barbs don't enter until the average # of cities > 2 and arent' really dangerous until > 3 and I expect some people to be slow - though, to be fair, I doubt I'll be first to city #2) Do BW later. Either of these allows me to mainly build my granary instead of a warrior while growing, which sets me up for a whip cycle later. However, if I wait on BW till last, then I can't switch while my first settler is in transit, which everyone knows is vitally important to the civ. It also delays mining that PH, which I'll need to get me to 10 base hammers, which will allow me to get 4 turn settlers at size 4. I could grow to size 6 and work 2 cottages and then 4 turn settlers. Do pottery later. This is what my micro plan gives me now. I kind of liked the idea of getting my granary in to allow for some whip cycles, but I'm not sure it makes sense in the capiitol anymore. There is so much food that I can grow pretty fast without one, though I do need a second worker. My plan is to go Fishing->agri->AH->mining->BW... but it's interesting to see what variations there are!! hopefully, I'll pop one of agri/mining so I can get pottery fast enough to build a granary first thing in city #2.

btw - anyone know what it means when people bounce off me or I bounce of them? Is that something I can fix easily?

Right. Those lines refer to Caledorn's server, but he stopped running NatNeg when it caused problems with the games he was hosting. Zulan's got a NatNeg server running which people switched over to, which is the new code in the thread Brick posted.

ahh - danke. I guess I've been screwing people up for some time now
I forgot to grab demos: Someone has a GNP of twenty - so, either one of the creative civs is working an oasis or someone is researching a 2nd elvel tech already. My guess? HAK is researching a religion. That's a pure guess, though, and it could easily be someone going after AH or BW.

Looks like Gavagai didn't settle. I am guessing he didn't realize that the mod gives a minimum 2 hammers to the cap square. Unless the mapmakers totally screwed him, I can't see why someone would move except to a PH square. Maybe he doesn't like coastal starts.
Neither did REM. probably a mistake.
