Not that it will stop him from winning. That seems likely to come from unnecessarily early war. His neighbor is Mr. Wildcard, Superdeath. Dude can definitely wreck him.
RFS and Magic Science are moving towards Food Tier, but not fast; I'd say swords/crossbows/trebs are the earliest they could be eaten efficiently. It'll be a feeding frenzy when one ore both do fall.
I don't know what I'd do in the RFS/Charriu/Cour race, in either one's shoes. Gold, silver, and gems have been just as contentious as I'd hoped. Most haven't spotted the whales, so they really don't know where happy is.

I have to say, Couerva and Shallow are perfectly positioned among the rest, uncanny. Should be a fun midgame.

People are incredibly wonder-averse in this game, that's what being a green in a vet-heavy forum will do to you. Couerva could well hose up all the wonders if he was less obsessed with thinking about building masses of preats every other post.

To be fair, 30 Agg praets will also win if well used.
RFS' start is so slow I don't think eating him nets Charriu much.

Yeah, neither shallow, nor, especially, Charriu will get a return on investment from that IW rush. Shallow's is especially bizzare -- are there really no better ways to use beakers and hammers than chop jungle?

IW won't pay without also gaining Calendar.
Light as the coasts are the GLH will still be worth it if someone snags their neighbor. Colossus too. I don't think the food situation would make Pyramids broken. Duel map size is rough without Duel map setting.

Well, I was about to comment about Coeur expecting too much from his compatriots, but...yikes. That's one of the most "my rival is an AI" assumptions I've ever seen. Culture bombing is a hostile act, not expecting a response is kind of hard to believe.
With *this* power disparity? And as little threat as China's neighbors are to them?

Hilarious that China's IW play might actually come off, if in a somewhat unexpected and 'let both sides die' way. And the timing is just perfect.
However, with OT4E copiloting, I expect China's forces to die in some hilarious tactical blunder. Should we tell Charriu about the real autoraze rules??
Also, WTF is with Shallow working an unimproved grassland over coast in a near-broke situation? The return on each turn of alphabet is massive, and that one tile change nearly doubles your net income!
