Getting another capital with all the resources around would be awesome. I just hope many of your axemen will survive. Otherwise you will maybe lose the city you have conquered a round after. (or in the same round)
And attacking an archer on a hill within a city and 40% cultural bonus isn't so easy. But is there any reason for the names of these? An army shouldn't be just numbers.

Soldiers are numbered. Hordes of barbarians are named. It's part of why soldiers beat barbarians.
We've been numbering armies since civilization got units big enough to have more than one army at a time.
For example "US Revolutionary War Continental Army had 27 regiments, numbered in order of the seniority of each Colonel."
I just randomized the numbers so as to not give away information on how many I have or their disposition.
Alternately, if you want to go with my pseudo-theme for naming (Moties). Warrior and Worker castes don't matter and it is not necessary to name them. Only Masters matter.

Looks like Fimi logged in after Nils and I and whipped.
Admin caught it and undid the illegal move. (possibly Nils complained? I don't know).
Thank you Lord of Civ.
No score change for Fimi at the flip, so no Archery yet.

Combat! Victory! No city yet, but the hard part is over.
First axe got ZERO hits.
Second axe got ONE hit.
Third axe pulls a low-odds (1 in 6) victory!
The Archer is DEAD!
Axes 4&5 kill a warrior each.
Fimi's warrior in his new city ran away?
And his barb-fighting warrior heads for my copper. It'll step onto it next turn, then die to an axe.

43 will take C1-Shock
75&99 may take CR1.
Edit, after checking the odds, it's 66% for a wounded CR1 axe vs his top warrior, 64% for a C1 axe. They will take Combat.
Fimi whipped this turn, so he'll have a 4th warrior after the flip.
Unknown if firle/nils will attack this turn.
It appears Fimi deleted his worker.
More edit. After promote-healing.
C1+shock axe, 82hp, should be 92%.
C1 axe, 84hp, 80%
C1 axe, 76hp. Only 64%.

I have the warrior and my scout headed towards the fight.
Both will be available to stick in the city on the turn I take it.
Objective is to prevent Nils/Firle from stepping off my axe this turn (to avoid war teleportation), and then attacking into the city if I win and have a single wounded axe there.
If I put the warrior and scout into the city as well, he can't take(or raze) the city with a single attack..

Congratulation. That should be a good return on invest in the near future.
Also after the next turn: only 50 opponents left to the final victory.

More than 1 turn.
He has 4 units, I only have 3 axes alive, and one probably won't attack with only 60% odds (plus even if it wins I would leave a single warrior for Nils/Firle to kill and get the city).
Best I could do is two turns, and it might be 3. Depends how much overflow he has on the whip for the next warrior.

Just the opposite.
We PMed one another and agreed we were both playing after Fimi.
I said "if turn order between us becomes important, I'd be OK with a random selection"

I've been playing before Firle. I intend to continue that if I have the choice.
