Another turn came in. Not much to say really. I'll upload some pictures later, but I'm getting really tired of having to cover Nic's Chariot across our land. Can we just close borders instead?

if you wanna close borders, that's fine with me. we aren't getting any value from it, and if he has sailing, he might be. I don't remember if he has sailing.

Keeping the borders open for now. Currency in last turn, I'll get one more if it comes in before 5:00 PM local and then you have the helm. Generally speaking, lay down cottages, prep to whip acqueduct in Arithmetic and follow up into Hanging Gardens. Stone is roaded and the jungle is being chopped and workers should be pouring in from the north shortly.
Once we have Code of Laws in, whip all the courthouses and then swap to Caste System IMO and run Scientists until we get our academies up or we can bulb cool stuff.

seems like a plan to me...
An option, instead of researching religion techs, is to build shwedegon paya. Might be interesting - I've honestly never built it, ever.

Yeah, but we do get the +100% production temples. Seems a shame to not do that and pair it with stone-based monk-economy wonders...

Turn played, pictures dumped into the shared dropbox since I need to scoot out of town. Everything looks solid. Build wealth, we can tech CoL in 3 turns at Max Science. Get Stone hooked and get ready to chop into the hanging gardens.

yep.
I'm thinking Poly->Mono->priesthood, which gives us org rel and we can build missionaires with monasteries. (after CoL, of course)

Monasteries require Meditation, not Priesthood. And Organized Religion already lets you build missionaries.
