Just been lurking RB#2. Can anyone explain to me what's going on here ?

On Move 43, white wants to exchange rooks and captures on f7. Instead of simply recapturing, black moves his king away to h6 (why?), allowing a mate in one. White in turn, instead of mating with Rh8#, decides to give the rook back for nothing with Rh7+ where it is captured with Kxh7.
Well, at least now it's an interesting endgame.

Ah ok.

That's why we switched to 24 hours/move in the next tournament...

So in humble brag mode, after losing 7 games in a row, I've won my last 6, cracking the 1300 rating mark. So.... go me!!
Over 2 months after it started, the March official chess.com tournament is down to only 52 games left in the 1st round, so it's almost time for the 2nd round to finish. I finished 2nd in my group in the April tournament, so I'm out, and I've won my first 4 games in the May tournament, but it will take some good chess to win my group as there are 2 pretty good players in there (at least good in comparison to me )

I managed a pretty nice win against a player rated 1953.
If you are interested, here is a short video analysis by FM Lilov:

(since the audio is blurred for 15 seconds at one point, I want to clarify that my opponent resigned because of a double threat against his rook and mate in 2 on the back rank).

I deleted the file a few days ago since I assumed everybody who was interested had already downloaded the file. If you still want it, drop me a PM. (It seems Rapidshare is going belly up soon, they laid off 75% of their employees. Can anybody recommend a good filehoster for legal files with decent download speed for free users?).
