OK, I've set up a blog where I'm currently reporting my turns. Don't bother looking for it, it's currently locked and not publicly available.
However, if anyone wants to read it, all you need to do is PM me your email address with the following statement:
"I wish to view your turn reports for PB5 and I agree to not reproduce any of the information within that blog elsewhere on the internet or with another person who does not have access to the blog".
Just to explain, it's nothing different than what is expected when you lurked this thread previously, but I felt it wisest to be explicit. Once you sent the PM I will send out the link with further instructions. Expect a maximum of a 1 day wait beween sending me the request and recieving the instructions, though it should be significantly quicker.

My apologies to anyone who feels left in the dark, but I took some time to think about how to handle some of the requests for access to the blog. After considerable thought, I feel it's necessary to restrict access to the blog to some degree. While this is atypical for Realms Beyond there are several unique characteristics about both this game and its lurkers:
*This is an overtly entertaining game, and I'm approaching it with a more educational spirit than most RB events.
*Some lurkers do not all share our sportsmanship and sense of fair play. There have been instances of censorship in past Pitboss games, as well as similar instances in other civ games from lurkers.
*I need the blog to be a place where I can be totally candid. Several lurkers have indicated they would feel a chilling effect on what I would be willing to post or discuss with unlimited entry to the blog. Of course most people would prove trustworthy, but past experience has shown a mere suspicion of hypocrisy can be unsettling to players.
Therefore I have made the decision to restrict entry to some requesters. While no bright line test was used, I felt it was important to see either some level of inclusion given to new posters, or lack of membership to the democracy game.
I don't do this lightly, and I may revisit this decision during the course of the game. Additionally a team is already in place to publicly share some information about the game so the larger lurker community can still have a window into it.
Of course the multiple other pitboss games and dozens of PBEMs will remain open to lurk. And, when this demogame concludes its subforum will be opened and unrestricted as well. Maybe.
I hope this helps explain some of our reasoning behind this decision.
