Well done to the winner (would be interested in seeing a final score tally with breaks by rounds - or an updated spreadsheet).

Huge thanks to TT for organizing it - it was fun.

Finally, is it too early ...
to talk about changes to the scoring system for 2018?
Would anyone be interested in participating in an English Premier division / NFL joint competition (only for weekend games when the NFL is playing)?
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Sorry I haven't been able to update yet - my house move got delayed until the other day and my computer is currently completely failing to work.

Finally got my computer set up and updated the public spreadsheet.

As has already been figured out, we have joint winners this year

So congrats to NobleHelium and Jkaen who both scored 73 points!

However, just a couple less goals and Krill would have nicked it with being within the 3 goal range of the final tally.

Fuck this, Krill bot method still best method.

(FWIW, I would have used the joker on the first day with 4 games, but I didn't know it existed until afterwards, so I decided that using it on the final group matches was the fairest method. Otherwise, I would have used in on the day when there were three 2-1s, and I would have gained an additional 10 points, opposed to the, what, the 2 points it gave me?)

2 pts from the last 6 games cost me. For the last 2 ... I needed upsets to catch the leaders ... so picked them. Going for the win probably cost me 3rd place.

@TT - fantastic event ... really fun ... kept additional interest in the world cup.

I had less points than people who quit halfway through.

I'm using Krill Bot next year with a random number added on top for each side, Gaussian distribution, mean of 0.25, standard deviation of 0.6. Rounded of course.
