urban dictionaary isn't available at work . I always took 'screwed the pooch' to mean 'did a bad job'. Which, I suppose, you could argue that HAK and Adrien are doing exactly that.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

But "fuck the dog" means "do nothing" which is even more on target, imho.

It's interesting, however, that this idiom about sex with dogs appears to be obscure. I personally saw it used only ones, in a fiction book by a Canadian author (however, he clearly assumed that both his readers and his characters know this expression). Liked it so much that it immediately jumped into my active vocabulary.

I'm glad my quote wasn't chosen.

In defence of the vernacular honour of Canada, I have never heard or read this expression in my life.

I read somewhere that a Russian toast, ty stcho mumu yebyosh or something phonetically similar, translates to "Why are you fucking a cow?"

Just as planned. Yet another succumbs to the inescapable forces of history manifested in proletarian cunning.
To make up for that, we will avenge you by conquering REM
