Ah, that worker was probably a mistake, but I didn;t want to build a wuechua when I was already paying unit costs, and didn't need the explorers or city defenders. I was also chopping into it, so I needed to build into the worker a bit to complete it when the chop came in.

Just a quick question Krill - how do you get those icons of a hammer/gold/beaker by the city names?

That denotes the highest MFG/gold/science producing city in the empire at that point in time, with the current labour distribution. They automatically appear once you have 3 cities.

I think you need to check one of the game options ingame. (detailed city info or something like that)

As far as I know you don't need to change options to see these icons. Detailed city info is for seeing the number of turns for a build and growth from outside the city screen (numbers in brackets).

I just realised, I can only see one happiness resource, and that is gold...I'm going to have to run FR for happiness.

Hed Rule was a given...but I'm going to have to run Free Religion once available for the extra cheap happiness - the more religions I can get, the better. Having a happy cap of 6 without buildings is pretty crap.

2 pictures: I have found the middle of the map, and t89 demographics. That crop yield is scary, especially as I have 2 settlers out and a third in production already...but only 19 workers for 12 cities. however, should be up to at least 25 workers by t100.
BTW, just saving gold atm, I went for Masonry hoping to get Mono first, but Cyneheard beat me by a turn, maybe 2, and I overflowed out of Masonry. Still wondering whether to get Mono for the discount...or not bother, and just get Monarchy.
