Just met the Vikings, they offered me 2 fantastic deals. The first, an open borders agreement (yeah, like I'll sign open borders with a civ on a different continent that also has The Great Lighthouse) and the other was gold for clam (already trading pig for clam). So yeah, I may be terrible, but I'm not going to just gift the leaders even greater advantages.

Ok, I traded maps with dazed/scooter, and found this.

Basically, I will be absolutely shocked if they aren't planning on killing Sumeria. They pretty much need to, because Nakor has much better land, and Krill probably does too. Without Brick's land, their strong short term position will be completely lost.

From what I can tell, Krill probably has a 55% chance of winning this, dazed/scooter 25%, Nakor 15%, everyone else about 5% combined. I might even be underrating Krill's position. If I could coordinate an dogpile against Krill with rego/pindi and Nakor, it mightn't be so clear, but AI diplo makes that extremely difficult to the point of impossible.

I find it very interesting that Krill isn't even in Slavery. At first I thought he mightn't have researched BW, but this turn I noticed a de-jungled sugar tile in Opportunism/Lavender Town, so he must have IW and therefore BW. Not that I can actually do anything about it either way, I'm just not good enough as an individual. Too easily distracted by shiny things, not focused enough with micro or macro strategy, and purely play the game on gut feeling.
