If you're wondering about the strange log activity at the end of turn 52: Fimi accidental thought the new turn had already begun and made his turn. He wrote the arbiter and Lord of the Civ could simply load the save before this error occurs.

An other user don't trust the short notice of LotC about the reload comment, paused the game, and blocking the 52th player to end his turn.

I only check in on the Civforum tech thread occasionally, so I am late to notice a debate about barb events. If you're interested, a player asked LotC about removing the barbarian invasion events from the game. (They haven't happened yet.) A lively debate is going on about whether to remove them because of balance or keep them because we've already decided settings (and various other reasons). Anything I would say has already been said, but in case our colleagues missed anything... wink

I mean, everything else is unbalanced.. so might as well have a barb HA invasion on t90. Thanks for letting the rest of us know naufragar!

Personally, just keep the game going please. 2025 and the crowning of a winner in this game is what im looking forward to.

Question for the game admins. Has anyone reported any odd graphics issues while playing the save? I have posted a screenshot in my spoiler thread for your review as the glitch has expanded from 4 tiles to about 30 last turn. Thanks for looking!

Copying what I've written in the Civforum tech thread:

I got an error message: "Unable to connect to host." Perhaps my setup is the problem, but I haven't encountered this error yet. I'll try again in a few hours to see if the problem fixes itself.

Edit: I admit I haven't been watching announcements too carefully. I might have missed something.

The summer vacation period had started and we started a poll (results) where every player can vote for weeks where he is not able to move.
If you're not registered you could also post here.

This will give us an overview if we will running low on substitute players, etc.
ATM we decided not no stop the game for 2-3 weeks because this would be useless for this big amount of players: The vacation times spreads too wide.

Let's see if many users stay at home in this year or not.

P.S. As last solution it is also possible to substitute as player if both are played at totally different locations on the map (and there is no wonder race running, etc.) Write the arbiter or me if you plan to use this variant.

P.P.S. I will substitute Ziankali now for a week. Stories of his neighbors wasn't read the last weeks.
