I haven't played with events/quests on in forever, do the other players know that you have the Stables quest on deck? Not that that would necessarily excuse that city/wonder placement...

They don't get that announced or anything. But this ugly city would have to be dealt with one way or another no matter what.

Welp, had hoped to kill one more, but there's definite movement happening. Need two more turns, and I'll have the quest in; nine horse archers and two chariots the turn after should be able to make us Jewish, assuming no stabs.

Do the HAs from the quest each spawn from a city with a stable, or do they all appear at the capital? The in-game documentation is a bit vague.

I'm pretty sure you get a big stack at your capital but I'm not 100%, I think the last game I played where I got that quest was 3-4 years ago.
