I didn't realize you could base air units in Forts. That seems like something neat to abuse. Put a half dozen forts on the border and rebase planes there after declaring war.

I've just been talking to Dreylin about airships too - seems they are useful too.

I revolted to Free Market (everyone else is in Merc so I only get trade routes with myself, but I get -25% Corporation costs!) and Theocracy. I've started to build another stack of Machine Guns. I've also got word from Dreylin that he has Flight in 7 ... I was considering pushing Artillery out to 7 too and build up some wealth but I decided to finish the tech as soon as possible and start building the suckers.

It was aimed at Darrell, mainly. The explanation involved a bit of game balance, so I'm reticent to post it here.

I ran two spy missions (destroyed tile improvement) against Sooooo at his Northern National Parks city - he is now down 2 free specialists in that city. My hope is that he has to pull some workers up North to repair the damage. Only cost me 98 EPs (0% stationary spy bonus) but I am generating 75EPs against Sooooo per turn. It will probably remind him to run a counter-espionage mission against me. He is building a spy in his capital ... maybe he doesn't have one currently in my land smile.

Hi,

it's really great to see so many spy missions in action that rarely get used normally! It's hard to say whether the resources used up in these missions are spent efficiently or not, but to me as a lurker it's nice to see a somewhat different playstyle here. smile
