By the way, the game said I could set an email address in-game to automate things further. Is this worth looking into - i.e. does it actually work? Or should I just ignore it?

Yes, but last turn wasn't. For some reason, the game labels the turn 0 saves as turn 1. Thus when you play turn 1 it overwrites last turn's save, which makes the save unplayable.

You can automate it if you want, although I have little idea if or how it works. I don't really do it though since sending it manually is easy enough to do (unless you forget to send it ).

It works if and only if your e-mail account has no security - no password required especially. Which I'm not sure even exists in this universe anymore, but I suppose anything is possible.

Sorry guys but I'm going to have to back out of this game. My computer died in a cloud of foul smelling smoke last night and that means I'm going to be without a Civ capable computer for the forseeable future.

Square Leg has been ded lurking me, and may be willing to take over. He's got the password to the Malakim, so even if he isn't he can give it to whoever takes over.


My internet access is going to be erratic, but I'll stop by when I can.

Again, my appologies for dropping out on you, but there isn't much I can do at the moment.

Sorry to hear about your computer Thoth

But yes, talk about jinxing yourself. Especially the part where you talked about jinxing, that's the biggest jinx you can make.

You can always try and find someone to sub for a bit while you sort out a replacement PC too. I'm not volunteering obviously but someone might be happier to fill in for a bit than take over (or it could be the other way around too of course).

That's too bad, though it's ok that this happened now and not later in the game. Could have caused quite a few diplomatic issues.

But anyway, hope we can find a replacement quickly.

I will be able to play the turns for a bit but the reason I haven't signed up for one of these games is that I am not going to be able to play that promptly all the time.

Thoth. Please can you mail me the password again? I have deleted the previous mail you sent by accident.

If you guys are using the tracker that mist wrote can someone let me know what I need to do to make it work? Thanks!
