Well, obviously we are in a phase which is not all that much different then the first 20 turns in an ancient start. You choose your first build, you move your scouting units around, thats it. The thing is, it should get more interesting soon normally, as later era starts should be quicker to evolve towards the interesting part of the game. Unfortunately I think this game has already lost nearly a week due to players being not able to communicate with their teammates and giving orders for "their civ". Add to that what Gaspar said about people not understanding the difference of a team-game to a solo-player-game (is team 4 even realizing that they win together?...) and I agree with him that this game probably will die.
