Ways to make 6f:
Settle on food resource, work 3f tile: many possibilities.
Settle normally (foodwise), work 4f tile: Possiblities:
Farms take 5 turns, pastures & camps take 4 turns. (Note to self, double check this - I got the numbers from an article on CFC not in game.) Both Pirates & Gillette could've pastured something first ring, if they had worker end of T11 at the latest (or second-ring with worker EOT10). TEAM, Menagerie or Gillette could've camped something first-ring if they had worker end of T11 (or second-ring with worker EOT10). Pirates or TEAM would need a worker end of T10 to farm something first ring.
Looking at what Gillette have done with their tiles I rather suspect their worker popped out at EOT12 - they switch from 2f+4h (total including city tile) to 5f+1h, which to me makes sense as moving away from the "expansive bonus tile" after making the worker to a "let's grow fast" tile. So Gillette used their EXP bonus and a second ring 3h tile to get one out EOT12 (4 foodhammers for 5 turns plus 5 foodhammers for 8 turns). That suggests they haven't improved anything, but we might see something improved EOT16 for them.
We know TEAM aren't on a PH, if they have a 4 yield tile 2nd ring they could get a worker out EOT12 (4 foodhammers for 3 turns, 5 foodhammers for 10 turns); if it's first ring and they started working it T1 (we "know" not T0) then it'd be EOT12 as well (4 foodhammers for 1 turn, 5 foodhammers for 12 turns with 4 overflow). If they worked their 4 yield tile on T0 and switched tiles to confuse that time but not (all) other times, they'd get a worker EOT11, so might be possible they have camped a first ring forest plains deer.
If Pirates settled on a plains hill & worked a 3 yield tile all the time they'd get a worker out at EOT11 (5 foodhammers for 12 turns). So they could very easily have pastured grass cows or plains sheep in their first ring finishing this turn.
Menagerie are a turn late on everything. So on a PH working a 3 yield tile, or working a 4 yield tile (not on PH) they only get a worker EOT12. If they are on a PH and working a 4 yield tile, they'd get a worker out at EOT10 (6 foodhammers for 10 turns) if it's first ring (and in that case I hate them
) and EOT11 (5 foodhammers for 5 turns plus 6 foodhammers for 6 turns) if it's 2nd ring. So it's a possibility.
End of all this thought? If my numbers are right for time-taken-to-improve then I'm pretty sure Pirates are one of the ones with 6f and Gillette are not. Are there holes in my logic or numbers?
