[SPOILERS] 2metraninja's diffident introduction to RB

Having in mind I have a guilt for not knowing the exact game rules too, I am trying to understand better what are my options in this case. But if we cant understand each-other I prefer reload.

The game will be reloaded and everyone will continue as if the deal never existed. OK? Can we reload from your save, or have you logged in again since you accepted the deal?

Thanks for the reload.

Unfortunately I logged in again just to make sure my moves are saved, so in case of reload or crash I wont be needed to replay, so yes, Commodore's autosave will be the one we need.

To my biggest surprise Cornflakes stole Rifling from me frown What a stupid move. Now I HAVE TO sell my rifling to the other one having SciMeth, i.e. Bigger. Stupid, very stupid move on Corn's side. He probably spent a GSpy to steal this, when he could had it for his otherwise unusable SciMeth (unusable in terms of Bigger having it too and it was traded around). As much as I hate to do this, I must call off the attack on the score leader frown

I really dont get it smile Doesnt everyone wants to win? OK, this is a rhetoric question. I just dont get it what chance Jowi or Krill posses now and why they did not wanted to attack Bigger with me. The same question stays even for Cornflakes. No one jumped with me. OK, let them watch from the side pimp

So, I decided to retreat back to my territory and offered Bigger cease fire so I can return him his empty cities unharmed in exchange for 2 techs. He did not saw reason in this and took back his cities damaging them and killed one small stack of mine clearly retreating. I asked bigger for 2 techs in exchange for peace now. He might take it or try his chance in long war.

Liberating your own cities will not cause the destruction of any buildings or loss of any population.

I noticed his cities stayed the same size after he re-captured them, but did not made the connection. Thanks, did not knew about that.

Not that this is some much possible scenario, but thinking again about this, does this "not causing the destruction of any building" thing holds true even if the city was already out of resistance and the new owner was able to build some culture-giving building? Like theater? Does the theater stay untouched if the original owner re-capture his own ex-city. And how is "liberation" decided? Whoever have the biggest culture in this city?

Anyway, some thoughts about where this game is going. After the refusal of all Bigger's neighbors to take part in my crusade against the obvious run-away game-winner-candidate, it goes even weirder smile Now judging by civstats Commodore declared me a war and took couple of my undefended border cities. Damn. Where is the logic in that? I was told here everyone does whatever gives him most chance to win the game. Then why is that? Is Commodore naive to think he will keep any of my cities? Last time he attacked me with maces where I had only axes and horse archers and I still beat him back badly. Why he thinks he have better chances now I simply dont know. And if he is helping Bigger, this is outright stupid I must say. Finishing sure third is like being the firm second loser smile Or if it is just for the fun? Now I might have to find a way to make peace with Bigger and concentrate on Commodore. The third one fighting vs the fourth. Well done LOL. Interesting idea.

Time will show I guess.
