Oh man please do it! The drama and fury in Joey's thread would be incredible. On the other hand he may be so volatile that he'd just quit.

Anyone disagree with this? With the exception of a scout completely blocked that needs to declare to escape I'd consider it a moderately hostile act for sure. Especially in a potential duel scenario where the scout obviously is trying to get sight of a capital's center tile for future C&D.

Well it would piss me off no end to the extent that I would probably build a warrior before worker and go throw it at him.

It's fairly hostile, I'd say, with a scout. Declare to move through, gotcha. nod Declare and squat on my resource tiles? troll

To clarify, denying a resource with a scout is clearly a hostile act, but even things like this:

on his turn he declared war, moved onto the forest plains hill to get visibility of my capital, and the peace treaty I accepted pushed him back out.

It is wrong that this kind of thing would make me upset and I'd consider it pretty hostile? And feel perfectly justified in finding some small way to retaliate?

There's no right or wrong there. Personally I wouldn't find it offensive or antagonising, though I might not give peace.

Why is Gavagai working the pig over the fish?

Do you mean this?

Probably just an oversight or hadn't adjusted tiles yet when taking the picture. I wish he would update a bit more though.

He didn't start with Fishing. I'm curious about the decision to go worker ahead of WB, my instinct would have said that fish wins.

Worker and AH both finish eot 11. t12 Start pig pasture + Fishing research. Work forested ph and start wb. 5/30 hammers.
t13: Work pigs. +3f/+2h. t14 same. T15 pigs pastured. +6f/+2h. Size 2 eot 17. WB 15/30 hammers. Work pigs/ FPH t18/19/20. WB eot 20. 12/24 food. Furs camp completed t20, worked t21 (unless horses. If horses in BFC, Pasture horses instead of camping furs.) t22 net fish and work fish/Pigs. Grow onto Furs eot 22.

WB first:

Start teching fishing t0 (I've no idea how many beakers it is).
WB takes 6t working FPH + 1 turn to move. If Fishing is 71 or fewer beakers the Fish can be worked t7 and the worker finishes eot 14 with 4 or 5 turns remaining on AH. Worker either mines the bare grass hill or camps furs then Pastures pigs. Pig pasture won't complete until t24 if the camp or mine completes. t22 or t23 if the worker turns are spent in order to move back onto the hill/furs.

I like worker first + AH then fishing. smile
