I don't know now many people are signed onto the game, but I don't mind being a second summon if there are already too many people.

I'm not sure how many players you guys have, but 5 is generally ideal, 6 is pushing it (but doable if everyone is reasonably fast), and 7 is unworkable. If you have 7 people, you'd be best off trying to recruit one more and then splitting into two games.

I look back and see several games in previous pbems with more than 7 people. I want a world spanning unbalanced romp through Erebus. Given the settings we might not all survive the early game and that's ok!

It's not about balance. Its about trying to maintain a turn a day. You won't get that with 7 people.

We haven't had any FFH PBEMs that started with 7 or more people for almost three years, and with good reason. I think you will find that most people are not willing to participate in a game that is guaranteed to at best see a turn once every two days. It would be best either for one or two people to drop (depending on how many are currently enrolled), or for this game to split in two.
