Pitboss 18 IT and Tech Issues Thread

Other things to check:
- Are you running BUG or any other addons to BTS 3.19?
- What operating system and version are you running?
- Do you have just a single level of "RB Mod 2.0.6.4" in your folder structure? It should look something like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\2k Games\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete\Beyond the Sword\Mods\RB Mod 2.0.6.4\Assets
and NOT C:\Program Files (x86)\2k Games\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4 Complete\Beyond the Sword\Mods\RB Mod 2.0.6.4\RB Mod 2.0.6.4\Assets

If you are indeed running the mod in SP just fine, and it crashes when you've connected to a pitboss, I guess the crash could be network related too. If you're running Windows Firewall or some other firewall, try disabling it.

Trying to play with various setting now, but where is xenu...

Managed to fix it and connect to both of the pitbosses! My mod folders did not have proper rights or something.. Now let the games begin!

Fin had the same problem I did, only I don't know where to check if it had proper rights.

I'm running no additional addons. The current Laptop is windows 7 64 bit. I personally am running civ 4 through steam so I have a path set up as

C:\Users\James\Documents\My Games\beyond the sword\MODS\RB Mod 2.0.6.4\Assets

Though this path also works for PBEM 59 so I have no clue why it isn't working now.

That's almost certainly the reason why the mod is not working.

Did it work BaII? Remember to ask for a pause if one is needed. (2h left in the clock, Bacchus has also not played and Hashoosh has not ended the turn)

Well my laptop overheated before I could finish turn. No other computer has civ 4 on it and I'm leaving soon. So. We could let it roll naturally unless a lurker wants to step in and end turn.
