[SPOILERS] Frederick of Sumeria

Well... First off, thanks Krill for covering whilst I was away. bow

So much for coming back to a 4v1 assault on NSA duhduh

It looks like TT was right not to trust Ruff afterall, and with all the military around my land, I have no idea how to comprehend getting the tech rate o even match a future battle with NSA. It does appear we are at their mercy as and when they choose.

Krill Wrote:I should probably write up some handover notes.

Don't slave too much, and don't start teching until you can research to Steel at 100%. And if you can't tech to Steel at 100%, probably worth spending the money on upgrades of HA.

lollollollollol

For you lurkers out there. This is what Krill has left me with

Theres non too much whipping to be had there :neenernee

Krill, I took your advice and promoted up accordingly.

I am thinking that espionage hasn't been applied too much in this game, just wondering if it is something NSA have covered. EP have been spent on them the majority of the game. I am thinking maybe taking a turn out of Chemistry and teching Alphabet first for a few spies to go hunt the opposing units and maybe cause a few Espionage missions. Bit of a longshot but if I can revolt the border city of speed limit, I wonder if I could then raze it?

With the amount of muskets in SL, you ain't razing it unless you get about 40 knights, even with an espionage revolt thrown in. OTOH, if they EP revolted The Brit, well, that's not something you can really defend against short of having a billion muskets in the city.

Also, there are plenty of whips available there. Cats only cost 2 pop, and knights about 3, so there are an easy 8 knight whips and 5 cat whips sitting there.

Anyone who hasn't whipped before should take a look at that F1 shot.

If in doubt, whip.

Clearly I am far too soft and this is one of many reasons why I am only a Monarch player and struggle on the higher levels smoke

And here they come...

I moved cats within striking distance should they head for the Brit.

Just realised the units are not showing duh
IIRC there are 9 rifles and similar amount of muskets. I shall reconfirm next turn.

My concern is if they head to the north then I only have a few longbows up there.

They are moving on Uruk also.

They have a couple of rifles and a musket. I might get the RNG Gods over that stack but I imagine the Cavalry would come and mop up from the East.

Galley a few turns away from reaching TT's Iron site.

OK, Pegasus, I think you can be fairly sure you're going to have time for a new PBEM in the next week or so.

I've moved the Horse Archers into Elland Road but I can't see that doing any good. I contemplated throwing them back at Brittania (which they have now named Jackpot) but it's just easy xp for NSA.

Lets see if I can hold out of complete annihlation over the next 10 turns lol
I have also whipped every city for some sort of unit.

Just a quick update before heading off to work. Uruk Reborn founded last turn. Just need to road to the sea to connect the iron. Reebok will fall next turn I suspect. I've whipped as much as I could be permitted to do but Rifles and Cavs vs longbows and muskets is a quick fire loss any day of the week.

I expect the majority of you are reading NSA's thread, but for those of you dedicated to me (i.e. Krill).

Elland Road and Reebok fallen this turn. Whipped everywhere I possibly could but Stamford Bridge I expect to be a gonner next turn. Ironically, I am getting absolutely battered yet still 3rd in ranking at this moment in time.

What I also find fascinating is the demogs that say I am No 1 in Life Expectancy lol I suspect Sumerians will not be around much longer shhh
