CK and CK2 is not really a game.

It is more like a medieval play at a theatre with sitcom elements where you make the decisions. Which is a lot of fun, though.:D

Give Seven this - he's the only who using the denoucement thread as nonsensically (but highly entertainingly) as the AI.

I think I'll have to dedlurk someone if a 2nd game comes around just to insult people in the public thread.

Davy's attempts to perform semi-overt diplomacy in their no-diplomacy diplomacy thread are painful.

Yuris is clearly making a bad decision preparing to fight the one civ currently challenging the runaway Seven, but not having the ability for players to verbally steer each other away from particular choices is like most of the point of an AI-diplo game.

Diplomacy:

Yuris makes the bad decision to attack the one standing in Seven´s way, Mist.

Seven makes the mediocre decision to attack Mist. Helsinki is lost and he forces Yuris to look upon him as a target by putting him in his way.

Pretty much every decision Mist did was forced upon him, standing up to oledavy was a good idea, but the terrain blocked him from going further. Conquering Helsinki and Monaco is smart but he needs Yuris by now against Seven.

Oledavy, taking potshots against the leader whilst growing? Good idea.

But as Sulla pointed out look at the SP count for some serious hurt. Oledavy can only RA with Yuris, Mist has no money, fire&ice is dead. If Yuris does not get his head out and pressures Seven this is probably over.

Poor Dave, Florence is about to get splattered by Yuri. If he's lucky, Florence will be captured before he sinks 500g into an alliance.

I rather read that comment as Yuris wanting Florence as an ally by splattering some other citystate. Although if Dave buys it out, it might be easier to just take it over.

I don't know, is Mist really throwing the game if those cities he wants to pass off to Dave are pushing him into -10 happiness (note that I don't know how much happiness Mist has)? Because the alternative is he loses his entire army and hence his empire.

Yet another alternative is that Mist is hopelessly outmatched and is going to lose his entire empire to Seven anyway.
