I think the game was over around/after the winter break. That put you in a very awkward position, B4ndit, and I guess the players owe you an apology.

As an aside: you seem to think of yourself and bisons as a single unit. When do you imagine you would have broken with bisons to secure a victory condition?

Good game everyone. I really enjoyed playing with all of you. Sorry about the way things ended up, B4ndit, thanks for taking over in a rough spot. Congrats Suttree and Oxyphenbutozone! I know not everyone agrees, but I view you as the winners of this one. You played a really strong game.

I don't think a winner should be declared, and I note that suttree didn't call for that either. As a small consolation prize to B4ndit, how about everyone else retiring to AI and letting B4ndit go stomping? smile

Which went down to 5500? 6000 breakers at t160?

Do we conclude that this game is over?

Uh, no. Our break even was 600 bpt. Bison was not very far ahead of that, and in 10 turns our economy would have been significantly stronger than anyone's. No one else could have won this game, barring multiple NAP breaks.

It is a shame this had ended like this, but the game was moving too slowly, even for me. Plus I want to get out of this game, due to me messing up the start and thus making the game near impossible to achieve victory.

Now we will never know how it would have turned out cry
I was happy to learn a lot from playing, though.

Generally I am glad that I was able to play this game, but I regret that it ends this way. DMOC end up in loosing position with no chances of wining this game and he started discussion for terminating this game (along with Aivoturso who was loosing war in this game). I just hope that this isn't general rule how games ends here on RB: once group of players realize that they have no chances of winning they are willing to terminate game despite other players odds for winning. I hope that this is just exception or overoptimistic miscalculation of my or Bisons chances for winning.

Regarding my and Bisons situation. To be honest it didn't matter. I had my plans goals, Bisons had his goals, they were common for the foreseeable future. If we wouldn't be able to stop you, then it doesn't matter right? If somehow we would be able to knock you down, then I guess that would be the best reward in itself... Regardless of the final victory going to me, Bisons or any other player. Maybe it's because I'm more familiar with Europa Universalis' style open endings and I can enjoy the game regardless of the final result - just doing the best possible job in current geo-political situation.

Before Bisons GA we were able to easily sustain 600bpt and with his GA we were able to sustain ~750 as I remember. And it was without producing wealth , without universities/oxford, without my territorial expansion started paying of. We both also had plenty of ways to improve our economy.

I can't say that I was certain of wining, but I just didn't see my position as "lost". Maybe I am wrong, and all of you which voted for terminating this game have so much more experience in this game, that you are right about certainty of the end result. I wasn't. That's all that I regret.

so , it be clear that this game will not continue, can you give your science/turn actually ( or your potential science before your war ? ( by MP if you prefer ) i tell you mine in return ( when i will have the confirmation the game stop i will go in the game make screenshot )

@bandit, yes i'm curious to know if we can return the situation. but that seems it will never arrived. that why i want to call. because a war at this time of the game will kill all our chance

when you say 600 bpt, you say about science ?
if it's that, i'm more and more of that . because i'm at 645 turn 152. without help. and i've up this during the few last turn. and i'f i dont have to lost turn anymore, i can up more.
