Look, strategically, no one is really teching at a rate any where near mine. I have 2 more GAs to blow.
Cyneheard is down Education, Lin, Nationalism, Constitution, Democracy, Philo, Compass, Optics, Economics and by the time he has finished Rifling, down Astro to boot. Up Engineering (lolol 700 adjusted beakers left) and Theo (a tech I need to never research due to Paya).
sunrise is down Constitution, Democracy, Rifling, Lib, Compass, Optics, Astro by the time he finishes RP and is currently in Rep for the faster teching. He is up Music and Mil Trad (neither of which I need, maybe getting Music for culture battles for fun), Engineering and Theo. sunrise is teching RP in 2 turns with his best teching civics and science set up. I teched it in 2 with nothing but Merc.
Eng for me isn't even a speed hump, I can get that and Chemistry in 2 turns at none-GA breakeven.
The rest aren't even worth considering.
I have no reason to stop teching and so I'm not until I'm sure any war will be a complete formality.

I lost 3 workers because last turn the turn ended, moving units about while I was trying to rename a unit. Oh well, still got 12 left and I don't really have much for them to do any more. Shit happens.
Hit 1727 bpt eot, got Astro in one on overflow alone, and popped a GE. Interesting, I seem to be getting a lot of low odds GP in this game. I don't want to use a GE on a GA, though...but Insta Kremlin? No need. Mining Inc? Meh. SoL? I have +125% modifier. Wall Street? Again, meh. Pentagon? That is a fir way away, and I don't have any competition for it. And bulbing is right out.
OTOH...anyone want to see me go for a cultural victory? Nah, that'd be boring. Blood and guts every time, right?

Having an expert AW game end with a cultural victory might be funny but in all honesty if you go for a peacefull victory I think a Space-win is far more fitting (It would really underline your tech-advantage).

I'm actually considering going for SS after I take out Cyneheard or sunrise: workshop up about 4-5 good production cities, run US/FS/CS/SP/something and use those cities for SS builds and keep the rest of the cities for war footing. Ironically the civics needed to maximise both are mutually exclusive, if you get Pentagon.

Next turn I could get Physics in 1 turn due to overflow. Instead, I'm going to go for Communism as planned, then revolt on the last turn. If I can still get Physics in 1, then I've generated about 2800 base beakers more than I expected to in this GA.

Hmm. Something to ponder:
Next turn I can upgrade everything except the cats to rifles, so a knight attack wouldn't work, he needs the cats and slow movers. I could revolt to NH for a short while and draft the three cities next to Cyneheard, revolt to US and buy rifles...could easily get to 15 rifles without buying anything. Hmm. I really don't need Physics this turn, and I finish an Observatory at the end of turn, so I should probably save the gold this turn and use it for whatever I need next turn, even if it is just Engineering.

Note: Observatory finished in Capital. Saved 950 gold at 10% tech. Researched Communism in 1 with minimal overflow and will research Engineering in 2 at current tech rate of 307 bpt, but I'm almost certainly revolting out of Rep this coming turn.
Well, the ball is back in Cyneheards' court, but seeing someone with a 1k gpt surplus is probably going to make him think twice about invading.
Also, I just counted and I have 36 towns now, and I'll be getting another 12 towns on top of that within the next 5 turns. I have the GE and Gspy, and should be generating another great person within 5 turns from either capital or another city. FS is now viable as Bureaucracy only makes 56 commerce for me but puts it through better modifiers for teching but not rush buying, and NH might be critical for stopping Cyneheard at short notice. He did just get Rifling though, so perhaps he is just trying to play defensive now?

Hehe. No problem. I can safely say that I have the lowest power in the game, but in the amount of time it would take anyone to get units to a front city I'd possibly have one of the highest.
