I agree with not messing with the workboat, that's more in line with the long term goals for Noms. We can settle our front city of ComAtMeBro next since Noms is hard to defend. Then we can get the Western Fish. I'm still curious at what is north.

I was waiting for Warlord to settle so I could get 1 free movement to North, but since it didn't happen and all the others were already played I decided to just play the turn.
He can't declare next turn since he didn't move during the 1st 6h this turn.

Warlord did lose a turn. Pause is in order unless he shows up this turn. These are potentially very expensive turns for him to skip.
Usual pictures + unusually also demographics .
Noms builds Axe next. Lol should probably start worker.
edit. Almost forget. Lord Parkin finished Stonehenge. It is intresting to see, if this will work for him. We'll have 3rd city almost certainly before he has even 2.

As I said in the IT thread I paused the game for WarlordDR. Not sure what this is about, but I've wittnessed quite a few times cases where these league hot shots are unsuitable for this game format. I hope this is some misunderstanding though e.g. that Metallian was supposed to play turns for WarlordDR, but somehow has forgotten to do that.

My inclination is that the game should continue for another turn without a pause, and if WarlordDr doesn't show back up, we should consider pausing the game and officially starting a search to find a long term replacement player for him.
He never sent me his password despite more than one request. Does anyone else have his password if he has to be replaced?

Are you sure about this? He has a settler in place and delaying yet another turn that + potentially losing production and worker turns is very harmful for the game balance, if/when I take advantage of it.

Yeah, that is honestly my only hesitancy. If this were just a matter of penalizing WarlordDr, then I wouldn't have any qualms. But given that he may be replaced, it certainly would be better for game balance not to go that direction.
Give me a couple minutes to think on it and I will get back to you.

He knew the rules when he signed up. He has set up subs and they have not played for him, so none of these issues are your fault so do not hold back from taking advantage.
OTOH, getting a replacement shouldn't be that difficult...

I agree that it makes sense to just let the game run. I appreciate your attempts to be scrupulously fair about this.
If he doesn't show back up in 24 hours, we will pause to find a replacement.
I have already posted a thread in the main forum about finding a potential replacement.

I don't really like the idea of letting a second turn elapse on him but those are the rules, I guess.
On the bright side, you may not have to worry about finding too long term of a substitute if we have our way. :D

Someone named Eric has replaced Warlord and there is another settler out. Impressive - They get third 3rd city before us. Couple of things to note. There seems to be only scout protecting unless his warrior is on the settling position. It seems also that he doesn't have river to connnect his probable copper in the area that means he would need sailing/wheel to hook it.
It seems that there would be no connection to others through east and his only way out is in the north. If we're his only neighbours that seems pretty hard to balance. The lack of land also means he'll be soon in a position that he needs to try to get it from us.
