Roll it back!
edit: 2 Reasons.
1) Plako set up the war brilliantly, and skipped turns sour the enjoyment of seeing a plan come to fruition
2) There is a new player, so the skipped turn essentially penalizes them instead of warlord.

As far as anyone knows, is plako the only contact that WarlordDr currently has made?
Also, I was thinking plako, if he is willing, might edit the screenshots he took of his diplomacy with WarlordDr (to remove information he doesn't want to share) to give the new turnplayer some clue as to what has gone on, given that he has no spoiler thread to give him background.

Nakor/Gaspar just met them this past turn.

I've already PM'd WarriorKnight to line up a replacement and asked the game to be paused in the tech thread.
I knew I should've made this move before now. It was inevitable really. But I suppose you have to give them enough rope . . .
Got no reply, but then since Liberty was born sunrise hasn't been around all that much. Priorities et al.

Does anybody else have any experience with Twinkletoes's method?
And if we went in and tried that, and it deleted the Civ or some other craziness, would that be reversible by a reload?

Yes, TT's plan works. We did that in Pitboss 1. If AI Takeover is not on (although Sunrise as a veteran pitboss host probably knew to turn it on), we have the ability to turn it on with a recompiled DLL that sets the option.

Any way to tell if that setting is on T-Hawk if sunrise is AFK?

I hear that. Ever since my old law school friend got into town last week, it has been all about SoCal brewed strong ales and IPAs.
Stone's 2010 Dry-Hopped Double Bastard is crazy good.

Just had this chat with plako:
Quote:plako: Busy, but FYI - Metallian didn't move a thing
me: Yeah, not a shock.
Thanks.
Here is the deal.
WarriorKnight is in.
We just have to prevent Warlord or his boys from logging in and messing with stuff.
plako: Reload or change of turn order?
me: We think we have a way to do that with a slightly complicated manner of switching passwords
plako: To change password he must be turned to AI
me: Right now my inclination is to rollback one turn.
Yeah, and then we will put WK back into control of the Civ with a new password.
but we aren't sure that AI Takeover setting is on.
plako: It should be. It would be very bad idea to play pitboss without it
I trust Sunriseset it on, but better to check ot

plako: Just checed Take over AI is on
me: OK, so all I need to do is log on, retired the civ to AI, and then log back in and set a new password?
plako: It would be ideal that reload is done so that he isn't last to act so that he can do his things end turn and then go to AI and reclai
* reclaim
You should play the turn 1st
so that AI doesn't mess it for you
me: OK, so we need to reload, and play it. Then set AI takeover. Then reclaim immediately and set a new password?
plako: REload so that he isn't last to act
So he can play and end turn
Retire
And then reclaim
me: And he has the first or second half of the turn timer?
Second right.
plako: If reload then he would be 2nd
If we continue without reload he would be 1st
EDIT:
Quote:me: Which turn do we need to reload to?
2440BC?
T39?
So that the settler chase can begin in earnest
From your screenshots, I think that is right

plako: previous turn i.e. T39. Most ideal save would have been Nakor one, but he has already logged in after that
I'll check the next best
Lord Parkin save is the 2nd best. We shoudld instruct that he wouldn't log in with that name bfore reload
That meand Parkin and Nakor need to replay previous turn
And those who played this turn need to naturally also replay
And off I go again. I leave this open, but won't be here for a while
me: OK, I am letting LP know
