Like a hot wind Varn Gosam of the Malakim [SPOILERS]

Barow popped.

Good thing I had all of the possible spawn tiles covered. Spectres can be nasty.

I'll give it another try or two next turn.

Oh, and there are now two skeletons incoming from the south.

Screenies can wait until I see more lurker posts. :neenernee

The Skeletons from the south are just xp for our warriors - I'd leave that barrow to spawn away seeing as they run in on sand.

The incoming skellies aren't a worry. The barrow I tried to pop was the one we've been looking at since turn 0 (3 tiles W of GLT with nary a desert next to it). I want that barrow gone so I don't have to garrison it.

Barbs in desert are good (I'm planning on popping the Gargoyles from Pristin Pass ASAP, the barrow down south can wait) but skellies in the interior are not so good.

Turn played.

Popped the barrow for some interesting results.

A second gold mine is a very nice result. There are some other things I would have preferred but I can't complain about free gold. wink

I'll update tomorrow with some city screens and development plans.

:hat: Yeah, it's pretty sweet. Not quite as good as a gems pop, but I'm not going to complain. :hat:

smile That's going to fund a lot of upgrades/deficit research. (and I still haven't built any gold buildings yet. It's going to get even better once I start getting Temples of Klimormph and markets online. :hat: )
