Well, what a debacle, turns out they have the net here like I thought but my wife was convinced they didn't and I didn't bring the laptop with civ as a result. Only found out they had it just now, on the last day. Had steam coming out of my ears when I did At least I was right in my initial assumption, for what good it didn't do me.
Back tomorrow in any case. Good to hear the turns have been moving fast without me, Lord Parkin's been doing a good job then. And \o/ for getting ahead of PBEM2, wonder what's been holding them up so much?

Now that Irgy's back and playing his own turns, please address all diplomacy to him rather than me. Also, Mist, could you please remove me from the email list, as I no longer need to get the turn.

And i'm gone. Lovely game, despite being torned apart. No doubt quite a few things i would have done differently looking back now.
Have fun playing the rest of it you.

Farewell, sorry to see you go so soon. Better than it dragging on forever when you're in a doomed situation though. Hope you're not discouraged, I think you'd have had a hard time avoiding your fate on the whole, given the situation and from what I can see. Hope to see you in another game.
In other news, I'm here later than usual but too early by the looks of it. I probably won't get onto the net again until tomorrow now. Sorry for the delay.
EDIT - ok, the turn just went to WK, I'll give it a few minutes in case he's around then....
EDIT2 - Looks like he's not - hasn't played yet and isn't logged in to gmail from what I can see. I've run out of other stuff I need to do, and I'm paying money at this net cafe, so it will just have to wait until tomorrow. Sorry again.

A little too hopeful for the save? I'm not online all the time.
Also, farewell Mr. Yellow. It sucks being eliminated early. Hope to see you in another game sometime.

Having delivered the final strike about 9 hours ago, I can officially declare the Bannor civ eliminated now. Of course, considering the cities this has added to my civ, it quold be quite hypocritical to deny my happiness (at least on an in-game level) about this.
Still, despite my civ having been rather evil towards your civ in this game, I hope that you have not been turned off. I also want to applaud your sportsmanship of actually fighting until the last turn, even in the face your civ's dire situation; considering that I've already seen quite the opposite happen, too (in the very first game I've read through on this site!), I think that's worth pointing out. I'd be happy to see you playing in another game soon, probably with a quite different situation at hand than here
EDIT: @what Irgy said: sorry, the delay was actually my fault. Yesterday, I wasn't at home until quite late at night, so only then I played my turn.

+1
Kudos to Mr. Yellow for fighting it out to the bitter end even if it was a hopeless cause. A fine example of the RB spirit.
Well done and I hope you have better results in your next game.

Yep, Mr. Yellow, thanks for playing, would gladly play again with you.

You can't claim all the credit - although I was surprised not to find the save in my inbox when I returned from being AFK for 35 hours, if it had arrived, it would have just sat there. I was only back for 2-3 hours before you sent the save on. Let's just chalk it up to Easter and move on.
