It would appear the secret to increasing your thread views/posts is:
1. Indicate you would like more of them.
2. Mock one of your nearest competitors.
3. Suggest the possibility that pies may be offered.
Good to know.

Krill: Yes, that's our 50% tech rate at +5 gpt, almost break even indeed! Don't know how this compares to others since they are mostly running binary.
Gaspar, while cooking some broccoli, I thought that it is time to do a city count again and see how we stand. Let's do it after founding Dashboardlight next turn, north of Paradise... :neenernee

Somehow, Nakor, I don't forsee the lurkers streaming in for broccoli, but what do I know. Maybe this Veggie Monster thing has really taken hold.
For Krill:
Breakeven:
100% gold:
100% science:
Judging from what others are discovering as best as we can ascertain it, I'd suspect we're upper middle of the pack in tech rate. Unfortunately, without more land, that's going to fall behind soon, hence the grabs for that island.

Gives a good measure of strength of economic growth and length of time until you max out your current cities.

Actually broccoli is delicious, it goes great with in stir fries. Sautee some garlic and diced meat in a pan for a few minutes, add broccoli, add pepper and salt and chicken powder, add a bit of water and a splash of soy sauce, cover for another few minutes, and you have something quick and filling.

You know, I'd be a much better Civ player if I had a better temperament. Just saying. Before I forget, we lost luddite's tech, if that's important to you.
Anyway, new turn.
Greenland: Forge -> Confucian Missionary (2)
Crossing: Courthouse -> Trading Post (5)
I also made the two build changes you suggested. Dashboard Light was founded right next to Paradise. If we found at the sign I suggested under "Crummy City" we'll have to name it Cheeseburger. Its only costing us 1 gpt, thanks to trade routes. Gotta love open borders with 9 other civs. Rego's gotta be rolling in trade route income. I hired an artist there. Once those borders pop, we can go back to slavery. I'd really like to slip Philosophy into the research plan somewhere, so we had the option to go Pacifism when we go Caste. Feudalism will help as well, certainly wouldn't mind Serfdom while we're clearing all the jungle over here. Gotta love Spiritual, only gets better as the game goes on.
Greenland will need a little worker love sometime soon, as its happy cap exceeds its improved tile cap. Given the situation at Silverland and Beaverpass and that we still have a fairly important backfill city or two to found in the south, I'd suggest we bite the bullet and builder another couple workers, but that's just me.
Did the tile micro for the turn, nothing especially exciting going on there, just a couple minor tweaks. Greenland should max commerce from here on out, as it has nothing especially necessary left to build for some time. Because I'm a jerk, I left the worker micro and unit shuffling to you, Nakor. Chew on that with your broccoli.
State of the game-type analysis post forthcoming.
