It's life. We'll see how greedy he gets with his movement. He makes a mistake and I'll punish it.

How long is the worldspell going to last for?
Civilization IV: 21 (Bismarck of Mali), 29 (Mao Zedong of Babylon), 38 (Isabella of China), 45 (Victoria of Sumeria), PB12 (Darius of Sumeria), 56 (Hammurabi of Sumeria), PB16 (Bismarck of Mali), 78 (Augustus of Byzantium), PB56 (Willem of China)
Hearthstone: ArenaDrafts Profile No longer playing Hearthstone.
Harsh. But you couldn't do any more.
I'll tell you what surprises me though - that noone seems to appreciate just how scary will warren boosted axemen be with two fully experienced archmages in support. That's the ultimate collateral just there. You can't out-tech that in any reasonable timeframe. Yet that's what's everyone seems to hope for. It's just surreal. Mist Wrote:Harsh. But you couldn't do any more. Tredje has got the staggered NAP thing going and even though Iskender tends to speak freely of things that are supposed to be "confidential", I don't think he'd be up for breaking one of those. Talking with Bob, we suss out the numbers as this: Bob: Before Iskender Iskender: T130 Squareleg: T140 Serdoa: ?? If I had to guess, Bob is probably T115 - T120. Honestly, I think Tredje came into this thing with a very clever plan that he's executed well. I thought that the SotI issue had already been patched, and I can't really complain about the map, mapmaker gave us a pretty good one from what I can see. Like I said though, just pumping warriors and swords, and with haste and eye adepts I'll have a vision advantage on him. With 4 workers, that gives me pretty good mobility. From there, it's just patiently waiting for him to make a mistake. And yeah, Str. 11 collateral dealers are pretty sweet
So just make sure you die slowly so the rest can dogpile when all the NAPs die, right?
Wait, this isn't SC2 2v2.
You're possibly the most unlucky player on Realms Beyond. You get boned every time...
Saying that, surely lurkers should have picked up on the fact that he got the son and made him delete it on the turn it happened? It's a bug that the modders attempted to fix but failed to so surely someone should have spoken up. Kyan Wrote:You're possibly the most unlucky player on Realms Beyond. You get boned every time... Eh, I'm more inclined to let this be an object lesson in why that fix is a good fix . He's played well and I'm loath to take anything away from that. That said, I'm going to try and take at least 1 son off of him before this is all over. Or at least give him a goodly scare about it. And yeah, Spellmen, it's the same logic as SC2 2v2, die slowly Kyan Wrote:Saying that, surely lurkers should have picked up on the fact that he got the son and made him delete it on the turn it happened? Or if it's apparent from the lurker's point of view that this was their plan all along (pre-placing dragon) why screw with their super plan? Still, definitely something that won't be allowed ever again imo. spellman Wrote:Methinks though people should have run the sims and noticed the Sons grab. With power numbers, Goblin Archers == Disciples == Sons, so there's not way to tell what's what until you see them (or they tech a tell, sailing in this case). Anywho, much as I love the extra posts and views that this discussion brings, I'm going to have to politely ask that people post the rest into the lurker thread. The situation is as it is, and we're going to play it as it lies, so it were. And by play it as it lies, I mean build 12+ more bronze warriors and swords and try and mob him to death when the worldspell expires. |
