Sorry, I meant noticed that Sons/Disciples were a potential grab and thus should account for that in their planning, not that they had been grabbed by the spell this time.

Man, all these fun bugs we find, and balance rules to use in the future, and it's only FFHPBEM 5. Maybe we should have a thread of agreed on extra rules/fixes for future reference.

Not yet. I'm about to throw pretty much all of my units at a stack of 4 sons, 2 goblin archers, and a handful of warriors.

Let the record show that I tried to be reasonable in this regard.

Took me a while to get around to reading your thread. Here's basically what we were thinking at the time:

• Eeek, Amurites Scary!
  
• Sareln agreed to Bob's plan to try to squeeze us from our land, that doesn't bode well for the future (note, we didn't know you were on the coast)
  
• Sons will only work if we can avoid the Lacuna, which means keeping you from getting to KotE.
  
• Gotta attack someone, that someone has to be a neighbor, we have good relations wtih SL and Iskender
  
• Tredje, why did you sign a NAP with Bob?
  

So it was a combination of thinking you were already hostile, thinking you were scary, and thinking you'd be a profitable target. Apparently all of the above were wrong to some degree or another If we'd succeeded in the choke and started our Inferno world tour 15 turns earlier, things might have been different.
